- Why we ask for reference material
Before we start a larger project we ask for previous translations, product names and any glossary you already use. Clients sometimes wonder why.
- How long does a translation take?
A professional translator produces roughly two to three thousand words per day, and every text then goes through a review. A ten-page contract therefore usually takes two to three working days.
- Machine translation and when we use it
Machine translation has become very good for some language pairs and some kinds of text. We use it as a tool, never as the final result.
