Why we ask for reference material
Before we start a larger project we ask for previous translations, product names and any glossary you already use. Clients sometimes wonder why.
Consistency is the main reason. If your website, manuals and contracts use different words for the same thing, customers notice. Reference material lets us follow decisions that were already made.
If nothing exists yet, we build a short glossary during the first project and share it with you.
